ACCESS STUDENTS
AT "Shebab El Khair" Center for Children with special needs
Sunday 13th November 2011, on an unprecedented occasion Access students initiated a community service activity by visiting the previously mentioned center which created a lot of enthusiasm and hope within both sides.
The activities started from 9 a.m up to 1 p.m. At the first place, students were welcomed by representatives from the administration of the center, who escorted the students on a special tour around the center- all in an attempt to reveal different services, rooms, workshops, auditoriums and classrooms of the center.
Afterthat, students formed different groups and worked in workshops altogether with the target population: those students with special needs. The activities conducted by Access students varied from songs or anasheeds to exercices and jigsaw puzzles up to clown shows, to creat a kind of therapeautic laughter and constractive entertainment for the sake of these little children who are full of energy and life, and lots of other things we didn't find in ourselves.
